Shelby Township Supervisor Rick Stathakis will give a ‘State of the Township’ address on July 13 at the Palazzo Grande Banquet Center in Shelby Township.
The annual address will be hosted by the Macomb County Chamber of Commerce, and will start at 8:15 a.m.
In a media release, the Supervisor’s Office said Stathakis will highlight the township’s progress on annual priorities.
“We’re a little unique in Shelby Township in that we give our board, our employees and our residents a chance, every year, to dictate the path of our government,” Stathakis said.
Four community members will also be recognized with awards in four categories:
- “A Better Place To Do Business”
- “A Better Place to Live”
- “A Better Place to Learn”
- “A Better Place to Play”
Admission is $25 for members and township attendees, or $35 for non-members. For more information, visit macombcountychamber.com.
